Hi, My DD gave me this one. It is for people.
1-2 cups unsalted peanuts
12 oz box cornpix or cornchex cereal
½ cup butter
1 cup creamy peanut butter
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
About 3 cups powdered sugar (or more)
In medium microwave bowl, combine butter, peanut butter, & chocolate chips. Microwave 2-3 min stirring once until mixture is melted and smooth.
Place cereal in a large bowl. Pour melted mixture over the cereal. Stir with
spatula until cereal is thoroughly coated. Put powdered sugar in another big bowl (paper grocery bag works very good) add cereal. Shake to coat then pour onto wax paper to cool a day. Store in tightly covered container at room temperature.
