Use your favorite method to make 16 squares of half square triangles using Color #1 and Color #2 in a variety of fabrics--or scrappy dark and scrappy medium.
The size of these squares depends upon the size of your project.
Bed quilt--squares unfinished size 4 1/2 inches. To make triangles from squares for this, cut the squares 4 7/8 inches. Or cut a bit larger and trim to square at 4 1/2.
For the lap quilt size--squares unfinished size is 3 1/2 inches. Cut triangles from 3 7/8 inch squares.
For a baby quilt--squares unfinished size is 2 1/2 inches. Cut triangles from 2 7/8 inch squares.
